Why Group Dynamics Matter in Heart Consciousness

Many times in my life I have chosen to be solitary, working out my “problems” by myself. Somehow it seemed easier than involving my friends, co-workers or family in my personal dynamics.

As I continued to grow and change, I noticed that when I chose to include others, sharing from my heart, they often felt much closer to me and wanted very much to contribute. I came to see that withholding my ideas of possibilities for my personal growth kept others who cared for me from sharing themselves. They actually did want to assist, give their love and their contributions to me.

In all areas of personal wellbeing and study, group dynamics can make a huge difference in the quality of awakening awareness. Being willing to have the courage to share deep feelings, needs and creative ideas with others whom you have become close to in a group, is really a very important step to take. The opportunity to use your voice and have your thoughts and feelings heard on a deep level assists in the growth process tremendously.

Others will see and hear you differently than you see and hear yourself. Their feedback can validate who you are and who you wish to be at your best.

Personal relationships grow and thrive in a group setting. Heart consciousness will begin to come forth for all those taking part in a group dynamic. One learns so much more about oneself and the others who are part of the group. Intimate sharing is beyond valuable and so heart-warming. We all have a deep desire to be heard and acknowledged by others without judgment or criticism. Groups that form with the intention of dwelling in heart consciousness are based in deep listening, loving feedback and a mutual desire to grow spiritually.

The book groups that form around Unlock Your Heart: Goal Setting From the Inside Out, hold that pure intention for each member of the group. As we go through the sessions in the book, there is much intimate sharing that takes place. The meditations and exercises we do together help create that bond of love and deep listening. Often times, we really do not have a safe place to share such wisdom and deep longing. It is a joy for each member of the book group to receive such loving support.

I invite you to try on Group Dynamics based in Heart Consciousness.
