What happens among a circle of women who are gathered to help each other become empowered?
Lives change! Women share stories and support each other by way of looking at alternatives and possibilities. They begin building a stronger framework as to how to be in their creative world. Their voices grow deeper with words of hope and love. They learn discernment and understand the power of setting wise boundries. They begin taking on more leadership responsibilities and invite younger girls and women to speak their hearts.
The power of Circles are happening all over the world, as well as, here in New Mexico. The indigenous women have known story and circle for generations and can certainly show others through example.
A good topic for a Circle Gathering is, "How do you remember the sacred heart of your activism? Imagine the richness of the dialog that would transpire as each woman looks within to recognize her personal activism. In reflection, core values come to mind and the thought, "Who am I being as my deepest knowing?" We all have a voice that longs to be heard and understood. Circles offer the opportunity to speak freely using our creative self-expression.
Perhaps this idea brings something to the surface for you. Is there a Circle Of Women in your near future?
Maybe one could be started through this site?
Best Blessings, Janie Davis
