My New DailyOm Online Course is Live! An exciting announcement came to my email a few days ago. My course for Daily Om entitled "Live from the Heart and Unlock Your Potential" is available on DailyOm.com! The course took a little over a year to get published. There is a lengthy process to complete, submit and have approved and then it goes to the marketing department for their approval and design ideas. Communication lagged often and it became frustrating for me. I started getting discouraged and felt like quitting ... but then something really big happened.

Behind the concept of unlocking your heart is the goal of living with active compassion. One of my favorite representations of this is the Foundation for Women's Liberia program. This microcredit program has helped thousands of families and their newest initiative is pure joy - they are bringing skateboarding to Liberia! These children have experienced warfare, poverty and Ebola but now, good students at the Elwa Academy can participate in the school's Skateboard Club. A donation of just $60 enrolls a student in the club with a skateboard, helmet and safety lessons. The program is supported by Sector 9 Skateboards, The Tony Hawk Foundation, Awesome Without Borders, MissionLines and a handful of individual donors like me.
