I just love the saying "Over the Moon!"
There is something about the suggestions the saying implies - elation, love, joy, thrills, sweetness, fun, adventure, awesomeness, bliss and on and on - Over the Moon. So what would it take to open your heart to BEING "Over the Moon?" Are you looking to someone or something to create that elation within you? Suppose you were able to create that for yourself? Well, you can! Simply spend some quiet time with your inner divine, the God within you! Elation and bliss live there on the inner, awaiting you to check in and spend some time in the silence, listening deeply; a giggle of bliss lives there - always available, always willing to serve you and ALWAYS Over the Moon! Dive in, go to the depth of your heart - the moon awaits you! By the way, if you have an Over the Moon story to share, please do so in the comments and let me know! I will rejoice and I will be OVER THE MOON🌙 ❤️ !!! Early every New Year, I go into a deep, prayerful state and ask for a mantra for the year.
The definition of a mantra is "a statement or slogan repeated frequently.” The word mantra comes from Sanskrit meaning "a sacred message or counsel." I find having a personal mantra - that declaration from my heart that I repeat daily - helps ground me. My mantra gives me clarity, keeps me on track with my intentions and affirms my wellbeing. I am aware of my deepest core values of Love, Freedom and Creative Self Expression. I know these three values are a vital part of who I AM. I look within those values and ask for Divine Guidance on how to expand and enhance my experience of those values. (Not sure what your core values are? Discover them in my book, Unlock Your Heart: Goal Setting from the Inside Out!) My 2016 mantra has been Fearless and Free to be Only Love. Can you feel the essence of my core values within that mantra? This was a particularly challenging mantra for me since being fearless is not easy, especially with my creative self-expression. I tend to be afraid sometimes to let my creativity soar as my Inner Critic strives to be heard. My mantra helps shush it! When I go into my early January meditation, I will take this mantra into my heart consciousness. I will ask it to expand, replenish and grow into the perfect mantra for 2017! It may stay the same, it may be altered--I am open and receptive to whatever Spirit offers. Try creating a mantra for your new year. It is far more powerful than New Years resolutions. Write your mantra down and repeat it daily. It is who you are at your core, your heart center. You will find it gives you deep inner strength and vision! I would love to know your mantra. Perhaps you will share it in the comments on my website www.unlockyourheart.com. Many times in my life I have chosen to be solitary, working out my “problems” by myself. Somehow it seemed easier than involving my friends, co-workers or family in my personal dynamics.
As I continued to grow and change, I noticed that when I chose to include others, sharing from my heart, they often felt much closer to me and wanted very much to contribute. I came to see that withholding my ideas of possibilities for my personal growth kept others who cared for me from sharing themselves. They actually did want to assist, give their love and their contributions to me. In all areas of personal wellbeing and study, group dynamics can make a huge difference in the quality of awakening awareness. Being willing to have the courage to share deep feelings, needs and creative ideas with others whom you have become close to in a group, is really a very important step to take. The opportunity to use your voice and have your thoughts and feelings heard on a deep level assists in the growth process tremendously. Others will see and hear you differently than you see and hear yourself. Their feedback can validate who you are and who you wish to be at your best. Personal relationships grow and thrive in a group setting. Heart consciousness will begin to come forth for all those taking part in a group dynamic. One learns so much more about oneself and the others who are part of the group. Intimate sharing is beyond valuable and so heart-warming. We all have a deep desire to be heard and acknowledged by others without judgment or criticism. Groups that form with the intention of dwelling in heart consciousness are based in deep listening, loving feedback and a mutual desire to grow spiritually. The book groups that form around Unlock Your Heart: Goal Setting From the Inside Out, hold that pure intention for each member of the group. As we go through the sessions in the book, there is much intimate sharing that takes place. The meditations and exercises we do together help create that bond of love and deep listening. Often times, we really do not have a safe place to share such wisdom and deep longing. It is a joy for each member of the book group to receive such loving support. I invite you to try on Group Dynamics based in Heart Consciousness. ![]() When you begin your goal setting process you have an idea about what you want to create. You begin to “think” about it. You might say to yourself, “this is something I want to think about and ponder upon.” Instead of saying “something to Think About” in regards to setting intentional goals, try on “something to Imagine—“ Imagination is creative intelligence—thinking is mind related—there is a distinct difference in the outcome. Imagination will bring forward expansion, wisdom, color, loving energy, brilliance—and a clear vision of what is being created. Imagination keeps one in her heart consciousness—deep connections derive out of imagining. Imagining will certainly engage the brain—and the brain will engage the cells—and all of it will begin to morph into pure intention—that is the magic place! When a goal is imagined, with all it’s possibilities included, seen with clarity of purpose, and adopted as a way of being, the intention within will evolve naturally without much effort. Releasing attachment to any control of the outcome is vital to the process—Imagining what it is you want to create in it’s fullest capacity, already realized and then letting go of any need to control the outcome will produce magic! Choose Imagination—and begin to BE. |
